Mia and James were married on a crisp spring morning in the Southern Highlands, surrounded by family and an abundance of garden roses. Mia chose the Aurelia ball gown for her ceremony.
Finding the dress
"I knew I wanted something dramatic but still comfortable enough to dance in all night," Mia told us. "The Aurelia's hidden pockets sealed the deal — I could carry my lip gloss down the aisle."
The fitting process
Mia had three fittings over four months, with small adjustments made to the bodice and hem at each stage to get the fit exactly right for her venue's grass terrain.
Her advice to future brides
"Don't be afraid to try on shapes you don't think will suit you. I never expected to love a ball gown until I put one on."
